ACSI offers a WIN Program which empowers women to succeed through skills for life, parenting, entrepreneurship training and opportunities, paid internships, and professional and educational training, along with mentoring. We provide empowerment seminars to help women make necessary self-improvements vital to their success. We offer free and low-cost Legal Document Services and help clients remove legal barriers that often hinder their success. With a 100% success rate, many of the homeless women with children have been able to address and rectify their problems successfully. We offer an annual free Pancake Breakfast and Christmas Give-A-Way for the children of single parent homes, where each child receives 2 gifts for Christmas. The WIN program not only empowers women in the U.S., but reaches women overseas such as Indonesia and Africa. Women globally are educated and empowered, as well as encouraged to maintain family stability and become entrepreneurs. Women receive individualized case management to help them write goals and become better parents. They are encouraged to focus on self-improvement, educational and computer training, work therapy, career development, life skills, and spiritual reformation. ACSI offers a Growing Early Minds (GEM) Project which Through Growing Early Minds (GEM) Project, we offer a comprehensive program with an array of activities that includes tutoring, recreation, socializing activities, academic enrichment, homework help, snacks, community service, sports, arts and crafts, and music. We provide this service for youth ages 6-15 who are economically and technologically disadvantaged with skills to help them be successful in life. We offer an After School Program where youth are given homework assistance, tutored in Reading, Math and Computer Coding with basic Technology and mentored. Committed retired teachers and volunteers work with youth four days a week developing their character, developing their social skills, discouraging youth from crime, providing suspension intervention, and educating them in various subjects. ACSI offers a comprehensive youth employment program in partnership with Career Source of Central Florida for youth ages 16-24, who face barriers to education, employment and training. We employ youth as interns as we simultameously train and groom them to be MVP employees. We provide a wide variety of training and mentoring techniques to ensure that all youth have the skills and training they need to successfully make the transition to adulthood and careers. Youth are taught how to build a strong and compelling resume, develop people skills, gain excellent customer service skills, discover their career path, and build a network of future supporters. We assist those with legal barriers to transform their lives by earning their high school diploma and teach them how to become community leaders, We empower and educate, veterans, senior citizens and the developmentally disabled adults in our community, We encourage and support the elderly, veterans and disabled clients by providing activities that help prevent isolation and depression, while at the same time promotes family unification. We offer weekly free lunch and fellowship, movie nights, computer and tablet training, and fun activities and field trips. ACSI began conducting Annual Mission Trips to empower youth and address the crime and unemployment of youth. The mission trips began from an invitation to facilitate a Youth Empowerment Seminar in Uganda where youth received Skills for Success and Job Preparation training to help them acquire jobs and/or transition into the workplace.Through the Youth Empowerment Seminars ACSI also encouraged and trained aspiring entrepreneurs. Annual mission trips are scheduled annually and we invite youth volunteers to accompany our team to see life from a global perspective, provide community service overseas and learn to appreciate their life in the U.S.
