To change the current landscape and definition of recovery houses and sobriety in Rhode Island and use this underutilized resource to provide education and support to the most vulnerable in our community.

DeMalia’s House of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Rhode Island’s most vulnerable populations suffering from mental illness or an addiction. The organization serves communities such as our veterans and elders, the disabled, minorities, and those experiencing homelessness. The organization’s approach is rooted in two core evidence-based practices: Trauma-Informed Care and Cultural Competency. Through the application of the Strategic Prevention Framework, DeMalia’s House of Hope customizes its programming to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring both effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
