Saigon and On is a community-driven mural project that honors the legacy of Lele and her family, highlighting their contributions to Oakland’s Little Saigon and preserving Vietnamese cultural heritage. Led by artist Joaquin Tinh, the project engages local youth in the creation process, providing mentorship, art education, and a platform for self-expression. Through storytelling and public art, Saigon and On transforms walls into lasting symbols of resilience, identity, and community pride.
