The Gregangelo Museum’s public outreach program transforms urban spaces into vibrant
canvases for uniquely San Francisco arts, entertainment, and cultural activations. Our mission is to create dynamic, interactive experiences—ranging from intimate one-on-one engagements to larger spectacles that invite unexpected participation—that embody the creative spirit and welcoming ethos of our city. Inspired by the idea that “when you come to San Francisco, you’ve come home,” our program nurtures a sense of belonging among every participant, whether local or visiting. We are committed to sustaining a diverse community of artists who choose to work in San Francisco. Our projects are collaborative efforts among over 20 local artists representing a broad spectrum of cultures, including immigrants, women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our leadership reflects this commitment; the Artistic Director – Gregangelo, born and raised in San Francisco, is half Mexican, half Lebanese, and queer, and is deeply committed to the local culture. In alignment with IAM’s mission to raise and support the educational, cultural, and social levels of the Bay Area and beyond, our initiative serves as a catalyst for connectivity, creativity, and the celebration of San Francisco’s rich multicultural tapestry.
