The Stand And Say Something Initiative (SASSI) exists to expand queer visibility and
self-expression in high-profile cultural and political spaces through fashion-based activism. Our mission is to create opportunities for LGBTQ+ designers, artists, and marginalized creatives to be seen, celebrated, and included in institutions that have historically excluded them. By producing couture-driven events, exhibitions, and mentorship programs, SASSI seeks to redefine representation in the arts and public life.
By supporting SASSI, IAM would be advancing its own mission of amplifying independent art
and media projects that create lasting cultural and civic impact—ensuring that queer voices are not only heard but visibly present in some of the most influential spaces in San Francisco and beyond.
