Through grants, sponsors and volunteers assist those persons who are low-income, seniors, veterans, or disabled, as determined from time to time by the board of directors, who occupy homes in need of repair, such disrepair imposing discomfort or a health hazard on its occupants, and who are unable to perform such repairs themselves, while promoting neighborhood revitalization and stabilization. Such services shall be conducted at no cost to the homeowners. Provide services to those in need during times of natural disasters, such as debris removal, mucking out homes, tarping roofs, chainsaw operations, restoring public infrastructure, and hazard mitigation. Provide services for those at risk of becoming homeless or are homeless, such as affordable housing solutions, rental assistance, tenant-landlord issues, case management, empowerment, and educational services.
