The Tacoma Light Trail is a free walkable/driveable winter festival of light art in downtown Tacoma. A Sound Trail pairs music and poetry with each light location via QR code. Live indoor and outdoor performances, a Dragon Parade and a Lighted Bike Ride bring the Trail to life. Lantern-making workshops involve the community pre-festival.
The Tacoma Light Trail uses light to symbolize hope, truth and understanding. It unites the community, lifts up diverse voices and brings joy and healing during dark times. It also creates a vibrant downtown, supporting businesses and artists.
