Alliance of Women Directors (AWD) is an inclusive collective of professional women-identifying and non-binary directors who have joined together for career advancement and to address entertainment industry inequality.

AWD is comprised of directors ranging from emerging voices to award-winning veterans in film, television, and new media. AWD provides professional development, craft enrichment, peer-to-peer support, and opportunities for expansion of industry networks.

Advocating for women directors for more than two-decades, Alliance of Women Directors challenges the status quo of which stories get told and by whom - serving as an essential resource for women directors and those looking to hire them.
