The Fire For Effect Foundation (FFEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders by focusing on resilience and hope as well as revitalizing local areas. Our main directive is to honor and empower veterans, first responders, and their families. FFEF strives to provide resources, build community, foster resilience, and strengthen community bonds.
Our local impact includes organizing events like the Bridgewater Farmers' Market to support local businesses and community; Bridgewater Country Fest bringing a day of country music that supports and builds our community; First Responder Day, which is a community day that supports our veterans and first responders, raises awareness about the challenges they face every day, and recognizes the service of these outstanding human beings by helping to show them that they are appreciated by the community they serve; and Audacity Music Festival providing an afternoon and evening of music and activities to benefit our veterans and first responders as well as promote local music.
FFEF also works on revitalization projects like Town River Landing (TRL) initiative which offers opportunities for Bridgewater’s nonprofit and youth organizations to partner with the Fire For Effect Foundation (FFEF). Our goal is to leverage the resources and programming at Town River Landing to highlight what makes Bridgewater special, uplift our community, and create meaningful fundraising opportunities that help our town thrive. The Back To The Field program provides veterans and first responders with the opportunity to reconnect with nature, improve mental health, and foster supportive relationships through camping and team-building activities.
FFEF builds community and supports local economies, its primary focus is veteran/first responder welfare. In essence, FFEF acts as a community-focused nonprofit, using events and support networks to uplift its target demographic.
