Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry (SMSM) is deeply committed to assisting a variety of individuals in need, including under-served communities, veterans, elderly individuals, and families by fostering true community collaboration. Through street outreach and the partnerships with which we have linked arms, we are fortunate to provide support with food insecurities, emergency shelter, rental & utility assistance, mental health & substance abuse referrals, employment referrals/placement, literacy, and daily essentials.

SMSM primarily supports individuals and families within the Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding Mecklenburg County area. We have, and plan to, grow our aid through the support of generous donors and community partners as we unite to lift up one another.

It is important to note that we operate as an Outreach Ministry independent of any church affiliation. Our focus is building community. SMSM would not be able to continue to aid thousands of individuals without the assistance of volunteers, individuals, and businesses within the community, such as yours, for resources crucial to the mission.
