Out in National Security is the nation's largest professional association and advocacy organization for LGBTQIA+ people across the national security enterprise. We are committed to recruiting, retaining, and promoting LGBTQIA+ persons, building community, and securing rights and benefits, including reproductive equality.
In the past year, our work has helped secure IVF benefits for same-sex couples in uniform and through the VA for the first time, pardons for servicemembers convicted of sodomy across 60 years, and service discharge upgrades for veterans kicked out for being LGB, giving them access all VA benefits.
