TEAM SHARK AT THE MOON

Team Shark at the Moon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Texas, dedicated to supporting families impacted by cancer — especially those who are underserved, such as veterans and first responders.

Our flagship initiative, the Take a Bite Out of Cancer Fishing Tournament, raises funds that go directly to individuals facing the financial hardships of a cancer diagnosis. These funds help cover medical bills, transportation, housing instability, and other essential living expenses.

More than just a fishing event, our tournament is a rallying point for community members, anglers, and small businesses to come together and fight cancer — one cast at a time. Each year, hundreds participate and thousands contribute through raffles, sponsorships, and merchandise. In 2025, we launched the Heroes Edition, honoring those who have served our country and communities.

We are fully volunteer-run, and every dollar we raise goes toward helping real families in crisis. Your support helps us expand our reach, grow our impact, and remind families battling cancer that they’re not alone.
