During an individual’s time in the military, regardless of rank or amount of time spent in service, they are immersed in an environment that changes their mindset - from one of a civilian to that of a military service member. A military mindset is required to serve successfully in the armed forces. The indoctrination is not a one-week, one-month, or one-year process; it is ongoing during an individual’s service.

Although well-intentioned, the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program (DoD TAP), required for all service members when they leave the military, is insufficient in preparing service members and their families for the challenge of transitioning to the civilian sector. It misses the mark on the most important parts of the transition - mindset, purpose, and vision.

Courses focused on assisting service members attain post-military employment fail to address the fundamental challenge of military transition, the mental aspect of the change. The contributions and sacrifices of our service members and their families cannot possibly be quantified. Whether five, ten, twenty, or thirty years of service to our nation, each dedicated their life to the ideals of this great nation. Programs developed to assist these great Americans transition from their selfless service to the civilian way of life, have fallen short in many aspects. Our organization fills the gaps and fills the need.
