We currently have gifted over 6000 pairs of shoes to the kids of Washoe County. We choose 10 title 1 schools or schools on the bubble of being a title one with no additional funding. Each school has their counselors choose 40 underserved kids in their school and we make a fun event and set up a pop up for the kids to pick out the shoes they like and wear them home. Sometimes we give away backpacks in addition to the shoes depending on the donations we receive.
