Project Help is an all-volunteer 501c3 charity laser-focused on the success of military veterans. As a grassroots charity, we are self-funded and earn all of the funds needed to operate and to be able to provide financial relief to the veterans we support.
We have a converted school bus that serves as a mobile closet for veteran families in need of clothing and accessories. We deliver to where the help is needed. We also help create resumes and teach interview skills with the hopes that the economic profile of these wonderful men and women will change for the better.
We have developed a mentorship program that goes alongside virtual and hybrid peer-to-peer networking events each month.
Our newest project is providing transitional housing and skills training to veterans in NJ and FL.
We are also working on therapy for those vets with PTSD and other emotional and mental ailments, using things like horses, dogs, fishing, camping, and so forth. We are really excited about these programs and the immense benefits we will be able to provide to hour heroes.
All of this takes a lot of money as does our hardship fund. We provide grants to vets for certain hardships up to $1500. It must solve the problem and is paid to the creditor.
Donations and sponsorships are needed and greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps as we are self-funded and work very hard to keep the operations of our programs result-oriented. So thank you in advance for your help as a donor, volunteer, board member, or advisory board member.
