Honor Flight of Central Oregon's mission is to transport America's Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifices. We focus on giving priority to our most senior veterans—those from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War—and veterans with terminal illnesses. We believe it is our duty to ensure these heroes have the opportunity to see the memorials built in their honor, at no cost to them. Many of our aging Veterans would never have this opportunity without the Honor Flight program. Our mission extends beyond transportation—we create an experience of recognition, gratitude, and closure for those who gave so much for our country. Through these journeys, we help preserve the legacy of our Veterans' service while providing them with the honor and acknowledgment they deserve.
Honor Flight of Central Oregon is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring American Veterans by transporting them to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials commemorating their service and sacrifice. As part of the National Honor Flight Network, our Central Oregon hub focuses on veterans from Deschutes, Jefferson, Crook, and surrounding counties.
