Journey Home has spent the last decade committed to ending chronic homelessness in the Greater Hartford region. For the first time in 35 years, everyone we have verified as chronically homeless in Greater Hartford is in the process of finding a home, a home where they will be provided permanent housing with the support services they need. We have built the system we need to maintain chronic homelessness at functional zero while also putting strategies into place to prevent chronic homelessness from happening in the first place.

We apply sustainable solutions to the barriers that create cycles of homelessness. We are proud to be a lead agency within the Greater Hartford Coordinated Access Network, developer of the Aerospace Employment Placement Program, manager of the City of Hartford Housing Choice Voucher Preference Program, and creator of Making a House a Home.
