HOME POINT SERVICES INC

Home Point (formerly Housing Crisis Center) is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1978, dedicated to preventing homelessness and stabilizing individuals at risk of losing their housing. As a 501(c)(3), we focus on two key areas: Housing Assistance and Homelessness Prevention Services.

Through a scattered-site housing model, we provide safe and stable homes for Veterans, single-parent and dual-parent families, and individuals referred to us through the Coordinated Assessment System of the Continuum of Care. Our Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing programs offer tailored solutions to meet diverse needs.

Beyond housing, we empower participants with coaching sessions and vital support services to address the root causes of homelessness, equipping them with the tools to maintain stable housing in the future.

Our homelessness prevention efforts include:

* Financial Assistance: Eligible participants may apply for rent, mortgage, or utility aid to prevent eviction.
* Legal Support: Home Point hosts a free legal clinic, providing participants with expert guidance on Texas landlord-tenant laws. This advice-only service allows individuals to discuss housing concerns with an attorney. Our legal program has been recognized by the State Bar of Texas for outstanding service.

By combining housing solutions, education, and advocacy, Home Point fosters long-term stability and self- sufficiency for those in need.
