A museum to honor WWII Veterans and all they have given to our country.
The Admiral Nimitz Foundation was established in 1971 as a 501 (c)(3) to provide additional development funding for the Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz Naval Museum, a museum honoring Fredericksburg’s native son and Commander-in-Chief of Allied Forces, Pacific Ocean Area.
To foster responsible citizenship and leadership by inspiring all ages with our collection and the enduring relevance of the stories from the Pacific War.
To be the preeminent source for the enduring legacies and lessons learned from Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz and the men and women who served with and supported him in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in WW2
