RUTH BANCROFT GARDEN INC

The Ruth Bancroft Garden is a unique and stunning example of garden design and clinate appropriate plants. It was established as a 3.5 acre private garden by Ruth Bancroft in 1972. The Ruth Bancroft Garden is a community based organization concentrating on three core areas for our community: Education- educating adults and children about water wise gardening practices through in person or webinar programs, field trips for children grades 3-5, story time for small children and their care givers and children's activities. Accessibility- children 4 and under are admitted free of charge, the Garden offers reduced admission to children ages 5-17, teachers, veterans, and seniors. The Garden participates in the Museums for All admitting those with an E.B.T. card and up to 4 family members free of charge, the Discover and Go program allowing free admittance for those who register through the public library system and free admittance for active military thru Blue Star Museums. Conservation- protecting and growing our unique, rare and endangered plants along with conserving the Garden itself in continuing with Ruth's vision of her masterpiece.
