The Hope Center is Central Kentucky's largest homeless shelter. Our mission is to care for homeless and at-risk persons by providing life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services that are comprehensive and address underlying causes. Our programs include our Men's Emergency Shelter, which provides housing for over 200 men each night, drug and alcohol recovery programs for both men and women which serve around 300 people, a Veterans Program, Hispanic program, Employment Program and Mental Health Program. Our goal is to give people a hand up, not a hand out- we are committed to treating the root causes of homelessness, addiction and mental illness, and getting people back on their feet so that they can live productive lives.
