United Way of Broward County creates solutions for challenges faced by those in our community. Many organizations focus on one cause, but United Way looks at the community as a whole and in a collaborative effort, creates positive change.

United Way along with community volunteers identify specific gaps in services and then seek partners and funds to develop programs delivering measurable results. This collaborative approach brings the best people, ideas, talents and resources together to tackle complex challenges head on and create long-lasting positive changes in Broward County.

We fight for veterans who are re-acclimating to civilian life, we fight for people who are working hard and falling short -- one emergency away from poverty and we fight for children who are not reading at grade level. We fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community today and for generations to come.
