Please join us in our journey! Scooter’s Place is a local, non-profit organization serving children and adults with special needs, their families and friends, especially those who need just a little more patience. Scooter’s Place is an Adaptive Riding Program tailored to each individual riders needs. We offer a fun and flexible, but structured and safe environment to learn horsemanship education that teaches life skills, self-confidence and body awareness in a non-restrictive and non-judgmental environment. Students on the Autism Spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety along side their friends and family in this shared environment growing in strength, confidence, adaptability, in physical as well as cognitive areas. Scooter’s Place will be holding fundraisers, accepting and training new volunteers, and so much more! It is a Big Endeavor!
