It can be challenging to demonstrate the difference that AfterWork Theater makes for its participants. How do you quantify joy? How do you measure connection? Participants return to AWT again and again because our programs offer sustained and intangible benefits.
AWT charges a modest tuition to cover the inordinate expense of producing theater in NYC, but there are many who can’t afford to pay. That’s why we grant scholarships, provide work/study opportunities and tuition discounts, and create free and subsidized programs for our community partners. Thanks to our supporters, AWT has invested more than $25,000 back into the community over the past year, providing more than 90 individuals with access to our programs.
