Encourage, register, and prepare citizens returning to the community from incarceration to vote

Citizens returning to the community from state and federal prisons frequently believe themselves ineligible to vote nor are prepared to. Midtown Family Services Homeward Bound staff, themselves formerly incarcerated persons, seek to change this for those returning to communities in Santa Clara County, California by setting up voter information and registration booths at community events. While targeting formerly incarcerated persons, Midtown Family Services Homeward Bound staff will register all from the community who stop by.
