MI AMORE INCORPORATED

The projects mission began with helping families who battle food insecurity. Through food recovery and with partnerships in our community, Mi Amore recovers food and redistributes, in a point-to-point system, to struggling families in Winthrop. And with a foundation in food recovery, the project develops relationships with our families to positively affect and advance their lives through education, shelter, transportation, and community integration.

Mi-Amore was founded by Suzanne and Jeff Carson, two military veterans, with the goal of serving their community. Since 2014, the project has grown in mission and effect with an active and dynamic Board as well as welcoming community.
