Valor Partners Scholarship Program

op Valor Partners Foundation

Valor Partners Foundation (VPF) raises scholarship funds that are matched dollar-for-dollar by higher education institutions. Our partnership model fosters shared responsibility and commitment between the school and the foundation, focusing holistically on the student’s needs. Both parties work collaboratively to secure resources to enhance the student’s educational experience and outcomes. Students receive financial assistance for tuition, fees, supplies, housing, and other essential education-related costs, as well as the assurance of being valued and supported by their community. From mental health services to career counseling to peer support groups and more, our innovative model ensures that every financial gift is doubled, and students also receive crucial on-campus military and veteran services support beyond the scholarship check.
Since 2019, VPF has disbursed $1,720,500 in scholarships to 35 schools, matched dollar-for-dollar by those partner institutions, for a total of $3,502,140 awarded to approximately 1,700 spouses and children of 100% disabled and deceased veterans.
The Valor Partners Scholarship Program unites philanthropic investment with higher education to double the impact of every dollar given. With 38 partner colleges and universities already matching our funding 100%, we are directly increasing access to education for spouses and children of 100% disabled and fallen veterans—a highly underserved group. Many more institutions are on our waiting list, eager to join this proven, scalable model.

Our goal is simple: empower military families through education by removing financial barriers.

Measurable 2025-26 objectives include:
1. Expanding scholarship opportunities to at least five additional states with high populations of DEA-eligible students by the end of 2025, including Florida, California, Alabama, Arizona, and South Carolina. Texas currently has the highest number of DEA students in the nation, and we are proud to partner with the University of Texas San Antonio and Texas A&M University. With more Texas institutions on our waiting list, increased fundraising revenue will allow us to grow our impact, doubling scholarship dollars and reaching more military families in need.
2. Awarding over $1 million in matched scholarships annually to students with the highest unmet need.
3. Boosting student success rates by ensuring recipients receive not just funding, but also vital on-campus support through military and veteran centers at our partner schools.
Your financial investment will support a critical community need, ensuring that military spouses and children—who face unique educational and employment barriers—gain the degrees and career opportunities they deserve. By funding this initiative, donors demonstrate commitment to veteran families, workforce development, and the next generation of resilient professionals.
