Together, we eliminate the days of silence, solitude and stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide, and build a world where mental health is everywhere, everyday health.

We are here to cultivate the go-to, perpetually growing network of mental health communities. Together with you, we're both eliminating stigma & building a world where nobody has to face mental illness and suicide alone.
OUR VALUES
By becoming a part of the community, you agree to uphold our core values of personal responsibility, community and advocacy.
- Every person has a responsibility for their own mental health.
- No one should feel alone in their mental health journey.
- A person is not defined by their diagnosis and should be treated as an individual.
- It's important to speak up when you need support or see someone who does.
- Non-stigmatizing, respectful language is essential in communicating about mental health.
- Everyone deserves equal access to the care they need.
EQUITY STATEMENT
All are welcome here! We believe everyone should have equal access to mental health resources regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
NoStigmas stands against inequity and supports the mental health of those impacted by discrimination. We will amplify all voices of people affected by mental illness and suicide and continue to create free programs that are inclusive of everyone.
We've heard you. We're continuing to seek leadership that more fully represents the entirety of our community. We are actively engaging with marginalized community members to help steer programming and better address your mental health needs. Adhering to one of our core values that everyone deserves equal access to the mental health care they need, we resolve to:
- Seek leadership and staff with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Continue to build no-cost resources accessible to anyone
- Foster a culture of inclusion where everyone has an equal voice
- Empower marginalized people to utilize NoStigmas as a platform
- Amplify the voices of those impacted by racism and inequity
Like therapy, the process through which we peel back and separate the layers of stigmas, racism, prejudice and bigotry is often unclear for those who have not had to face it. We will continue to learn from those who have faced inequity and grow as an organization in the process.
Mental illness does not discriminate— neither should we.
