CEDAR RAPIDS FREEDOM FESTIVAL INC

For more than four decades, the Freedom Festival has brought communities together to celebrate freedom, patriotism, and community spirit throughout Eastern Iowa. As we enter our 44th year in 2027, we remain committed to creating lasting memories through fun, affordable, and family-friendly events.

With our theme, "One Festival, Many Communities," we are expanding our reach beyond Cedar Rapids to include Marion, Hiawatha, and surrounding communities. Through a variety of events and activities, we strive to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together while celebrating the communities that make Eastern Iowa special.

As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Freedom Festival embraces a "support local" approach by partnering with local businesses, vendors, organizations, and volunteers. We rely on the generosity of sponsors, donors, and community supporters to make our programming possible.

Our mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in meaningful community celebrations, regardless of financial circumstances. That's why we work hard to keep our events free or low-cost, removing financial barriers for individuals and families.

Your support helps us continue providing accessible community programming, creating unforgettable experiences, and building a stronger, more connected Eastern Iowa for generations to come.
