CNS HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION

CNS Healthcare is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) with eight clinics and two clubhouses in Southeastern Michigan. CNS employs approximately 400 professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff, delivering services to more than 8,600 people annually.

CNS Healthcare (CNS) provides essential services and support to those affected by mental illness, substance use, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and other behavioral health disorders.

We are committed to advancing integrated mental and physical healthcare and eliminating stigma through advocacy, education, and community outreach. We empower all persons served to become active, healthy, and productive members of their communities.

CNS Healthcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic for Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties and is fully CARF International Accredited.

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), CNS receives federal funding to address the unmet needs of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults who are uninsured or underinsured with serious mental illness, severe emotional disturbances, substance use disorders, opioid use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Expanded services for underserved populations including Veterans, American Indians, unhoused, and individuals identifying as LGBTQIA+. CNS service areas are designated as Health Professional Shortage Areas, including Low-income Pontiac Service Area (Oakland County, MI), Dearborn Service Area, Low-income-Eastside Detroit Service Area, Northwest Detroit Service Area, Detroit, and Hamtramck Service Area (Wayne County, MI), and the Low-income South Macomb Service Area (Macomb County, MI).
