Senior Citizens Opportunity for Personal Endeavor (SCOPE) assists people ages 50 and over in maintaining their independence and being part of the community. We provide senior adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs in Trumbull and Portage County.
SCOPE also has a supportive services division for Trumbull’s retired and elderly population. This division provides social work and counseling, a traveling food pantry and grocery deliveries to homebound seniors, prescription assistance and Medicaid/Medicare counsel, and an emergency assistance program. SCOPE also offers free income tax assistance through AARP during the months of February through April each year, serving over 2,000 clients through this program alone.
