Event & Program Description – Winter Wonderland
Crates & Cartons Charity Inc. proudly presents Winter Wonderland, a festive community event dedicated to spreading warmth, joy, and support to those experiencing homelessness. This holiday celebration brings together community members, volunteers, and supporters to make the season brighter for our homeless friends.
Organization Overview
Crates & Cartons Charity Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-5065312) located in Newnan, Georgia. We serve Newnan and the surrounding areas, providing essential support and resources to marginalized and undeserved populations, with a focus on homeless or at risk military veterans and their families. Our mission is to ensure that every person we serve has access to safe housing, nutritious food, supportive services, transportation, and pathways to stability and self-sufficiency.
Statement of Need
Homeless or at risk military veterans and their families, face unique challenges that increase their risk of homelessness, economic instability, and social isolation. Homeless or at risk military veterans and their families often require support to successfully reintegrate into civilian life, including training and employment opportunities, unemployment, and mental health challenges. Transportation barriers further limit access to essential services. These intersecting vulnerabilities highlight the urgent need for targeted programs that address both immediate material needs and long-term empowerment.

Crates & Cartons seeks funding to implement a comprehensive support program designed to empower homeless or at risk military veterans and their families through the following objectives:
Why It Matters
The holiday season can be a difficult and isolating time for those without a safe place to stay. Winter Wonderland gives our homeless community members the opportunity to relax in a warm environment, enjoy a festive meal, open gifts, and video chat with family, all while feeling supported and cared for.
By sponsoring or supporting Winter Wonderland, you’re not just contributing to a holiday event—you’re helping create lasting memories, ensuring comfort, and showing our community that every person deserves love, dignity, and belonging during the holidays. All Donations go toward our Cozy for Christmas Campaign. Any food we do not need or use will go to local shelters.
