Our Key Partners & Concepts
Clear Path believes the best way to serve our military members and their family is through collaboration and partnerships. Our belief is that healthy Veterans transform communities and we identify partners that feel the same. Working with our local VA is critical to achieving that goal and Clear Path continues to do that. Our diversity in programs and services works well for organizations that target specific issues such as homelessness, education and employment. An example of this is our partnership with Solider On an organization that addresses homelessness. Working in collaboration with Soldier On, Clear Path helps equip Veterans with tools that lead to success. Using peer support, community resources and Clear Path programs, barriers to integration are reduced. Support goes far beyond housing, employment and education. Clear Path focuses on the life cycle of a warrior and we provide a multitude of opportunities for Veterans to realize full citizenship by giving back in capacity that is comfortable for them.
Who We Serve
Clear Path serves military members, Veterans and their families of all eras and prides itself in investing in this valuable population. Many who serve remain close to one of the several military bases located in our 23-county region. Fort Drum’s 10th Mountain Division, the Air National Guard’s 174th Attack Wing, the 224th Eastern Air Defense Section, the Marine 4th Light Armored Recon Bn, the Army National Guard’s 27th Brigade Combat Team, Army, Navy, Marine Corps Reserve, are located within a 90 mile radius of our center. We continue working with those actively serving and provide support as requested.
Our Goal
While many nonprofits serving Veterans focus on a single issue or need, Clear Path’s model is diverse and all inclusive. Although PTSD, MST, traumatic brain injuries and other physical injuries from military service are a reality of war, we help work through those challenges and build upon the resiliency of these men and women which goes beyond their disability. Each program, service and referral we make, takes into account the continual desire to serve and incorporates giving back in some capacity. We are firm believers that anyone who has worn the uniform holds a special place within their community. To ensure others answer the call to service, we continue educating the broader community on military and warrior culture and help prepare ourselves to accept the responsibility of welcoming them home. Clear Path is our community’s example of showing we care, no matter how long it takes.
