Children's Home - the 13th Annual Back-to-School Event in August, 2026

On August 1, 2026, Compassion for Others (CFO Ministries) will again enjoy the privilege to serve children at The Children's Home in Concord, NC and prepare for their return to school in the fall. This will be our 13th year providing the back-to-school event and loving on children at The Home. Every year we enjoy a time of food, playing games and great fellowship with these children, and also their house parents. Most importantly is for Compassion for Others to let each child know how special they are. We want each child to know their success in life is important. There is a lot of planning ahead! We want to give each child their personal gift card for a local clothing store where they can shop for new school clothes. CFO Ministries also wants to have funding for us to purchase essential needs for the cottages where the children live with house parents. The ages of these children may range from newborn to late teens. Sometimes there are teenage moms living there with babies.
