Beyond Booking, Inc. is a New York State Not-for-Profit corporation dedicated to the enrichment of contemporary cutting-edge electronic music and related arts in New York City and beyond. The Corporation is dedicated to the discovery, development, and promotion of new contemporary music, musicians, and digital creativity in New York. We prioritize the work of artists who are LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female-identifying, to help ensure their sustained creative and professional well-being. We focus on career sustainability for under-resourced veteran artists as they age in an often youth-focused industry. We help to support artists who are coping with mental health challenges. In order to accomplish the charitable purposes set forth above, the Corporation shall run four programs: Events, Artist Representation, Record Label, and Mentorship and Education. The Events program produces diverse live musical experiences where participants can experience genre-defying experimental music and cutting edge electronic dance music, prioritizing the debuts of new musical works that showcase music’s life-affirming power. The Corporation presents two flagship performance series under the names The Bunker and Going In. The Artist Representation program empowers marginalized artists through sound artist management and show booking programs. We help our roster of artists to realize healthy, sustainable careers. Our Record Label program amplifies artists’ work, while ensuring their long-term livelihoods. We operate two record labels, The Bunker New York and Going In. These labels primarily serve as outlets to bring attention to music that would not be widely released otherwise. The record label program also produces podcasts and streams to amplify our artists’ work to a wider audience. Our Mentorship and Education program brings professional development and mentorship opportunities to New York musicians from underrepresented communities through one on one sessions, public panels, and other educational materials we distribute to our community.
