PAT TILLMAN FOUNDATION

Founded in 2004, the Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF) has invested over $40 million in Tillman Scholars, supporting their education and professional development.

Each year, up to 60 new Tillman Scholars are selected from an impressive pool of active-duty service members, veterans, and military spouses, with an average acceptance rate of 3%. Tillman Scholars are chosen based on PTF's pillars; humble leadership, scholarship, service beyond self and potential for impact. On average, Tillman Scholars receive approximately $40,000 in funding over the course of their degree program.

Today, nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars are driving meaningful change across communities in the U.S. and around the world in sectors including public service, healthcare, business, education, and technology. Beyond scholarships, PTF provides intentional programming focused on leadership development, wellness, and connection, equipping Tillman Scholars to thrive and continue to drive positive change in their communities nationwide.
