184 Nightstalker Association

We are the 184 Nightstalker Association, a nonprofit organization with the mission to support the Soldiers and families of the 1-184th Infantry Regiment. The Association is named after the 1-184 Infantry Regiment nickname, “Nightstalkers” which has origins in the 1-184’s lineage to the mid-19th century. The 1-184th Infantry Regiment is a regiment of the U.S. Army, consisting of soldiers from the CA Army National Guard. The 1-184 Regiment supports state and federal missions in California, the U.S., and overseas.

The 1-184 has 6 companies and 7 armories located throughout Central and Northern California. The Soldiers of the 1-184 live, study, and work in your local community to serve the State of California and the United States of America. You have seen them in action during multiple emergency response missions supporting local, county, and state agencies ranging from wildland firefighting support, flood response, COVID-19 medical and logistics support, and other countless operations. The Soldiers of the 1-184th Infantry Regiment are also called upon to serve our great Nation in times of war and to support various overseas operations.

This year, the 184 Nightstalker Association is hosting a Military Ball in Sacramento to celebrate the service and sacrifices of the Soldiers of the 1-184th Infantry. This event is scheduled for Veteran’s Day, November 11, and will allow the Soldiers to celebrate Veteran’s Day, strengthen bonds through shared memories and experiences, remember and pay respect to our fallen Soldiers, and receive recognition for their achievements.

The 184 Nightstalker Association is seeking sponsors for the Military Ball. Donations will be used to cover the cost of tickets for Soldiers and their families, as well as the cost of the venue. The Association is also seeking donations of items to raffle at the Ball, such as florals for table centerpieces, wine, gift baskets, or gift cards.
