Muffins-6 week old kitten who was attacked by a dog with severe trauma and leg fracture

Muffins, a 6 week old kitten who was attacked by a dog. She was saved from euthanasia from an LA shelter. Her initial surgery was $2000. After the surgeon worked for over an hour to attempt to set her break, they were unsuccessful. She has been referred to an orhtopedic specialist due to the extensive tissue and muscle damage as well as complication fracture. Her second surgery will cost an additional $4,000 in attempt to save her leg. The only other alternative was leg amputation or euthanasia.
We understand this is a tremendous ask. Muffins is the sweetest kitten. even through all her trauma and pain, she loves to love, shows endless muffins and constantly purrs.
We have to set this sweet girl up for success for a bright and loving future.
