The CCC's purpose is to empower young people to change the world, through experiencing the joy of musical mastery, students becoming teachers, and manifesting empathy and compassion through direct action in the communities around them. We have a world of difference to make.
Basically, we want to have an amazing unique musical experience for young people, and to train the students to take over leadership as much as possible. Write arrangements, be part of board meetings, help plan our events/vision, help run rehearsals, learn grant writing, and find philanthropic projects in the community to engage in, that help develop their compassion, and empathy.
