The Friends of Wellesley Veterans arrange for Wellesley Veterans from WWII, Korea, Viet Nam and Gulf War eras to speak before residents and students of Wellesley Massachusetts to educate these groups on the activities and contributions of Wellesley veterans.

The Friends of Wellesley Veterans interview Wellesley Veterans from WWII, WWI, Korea, Viet Nam and Gulf War eras to write articles on the contributions of these Wellesley veterans. This material is published in articles on the web to inform Wellesley residents about Wellesley veterans.

The Friends of Wellesley Veterans create displays from materials gathered on Wellesley Veterans from WWII, WWI, Korea, Viet Nam and Gulf War eras. These materials — written and memorabilia such as photographs, medals, uniforms — are displayed in public spaces.

The Friends of Wellesley Veterans works in cooperation to support the Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a town government committee to organize community activities relating to the contributions of Wellesley veterans. The activities include a Veterans Parade which has military and veterans parade units. In addition, re-enactors demonstrate historical activities.
