1LT DANIEL HYDE MEMORIAL FUND INC

We work to perpetuate 1LT Daniel Hyde’s legacy of leadership, commitment, and service.

1LT Daniel Hyde was killed during Operational Iraqi Freedom on March 9th, 2009. Among his friends, family, and fellow service members, he is remembered as the best of us.

Established in 2020, the 1LT Daniel Hyde Memorial Foundation was established to ensure that Daniel’s legacy will live on in perpetuity. The foundation will support the United States Military Academy at West Point by endowing a summer study program for top performing cadets to work with the National Security Council. This gives opportunities to outstanding cadets, who like Daniel, are committing their lives to service and leadership.
