These $500 grants may be applied for year-round by young musicians age 21 or younger. Bright grants may be used for tuition for bluegrass camps and workshops, lessons, educational materials, or instrument repair. It was created by the family of the late Fletcher Bright, a fine fiddler, teacher, band leader, and philanthropist from the Chattanooga area.
