CISHA strives to provide adaptive sports equipment, facilities and uniforms for permanently disabled participants and/or participants that have a medical diagnosis that prevents them from participating in athletics in a traditional manner. We strive to creatively include all those who are left out of school and community programs due to the expense of adaptable equipment or financial limitations.
We are a 501c3 organization ran by 100% volunteers that organize fundraising events, apply to grants and scholarships to raise funds so that all disabled athletes have an avenue to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and participate in athletic programs with others who have permanent disabilities. We provide equipment, facilities, volunteer coaches, pushers, and administrative expenses such as insurance to ensure a safe experience.
