Our Mission is to honor our heroes by saving veteran lives through life transformation.

The organization’s primary goal is to engage traumatized veterans in ways that will prevent suicide and self-harm. To that end, we are building a team of senior veterans to mentor those new to our program, collaborators for fundraising and community outreach; and volunteer staff to work with us. We currently serve veterans in the Detroit Metropolitan Tri-county areas, consisting of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. However, we have reached veterans in Washtenaw County, as well.

CASE MANAGEMENT
A Clinical Director oversees the case management and counseling services. The measures in our case management services may include:
• Initial contact
• Pre-planning before discharge
• Intake
• Assessment of psychosocial and environmental needs
• Treatment planning
• Crisis planning
• Care packages
• Referral services for counseling
• Medical conditions
• Housing
• Aid with rent
• Food
• Clothing
• Transportation
• Job search

COUNSELING
Mental health services provided via telehealth and referrals

VETERAN BENEFIT ADVOCACY
The organization assists veterans with:
• Obtaining their military benefits
• Resolving discharge-related issues
• Secure health care benefits
• Obtaining military pension
• Other veteran resources

COMMUNITY RESOURCE SUPPORT
We assist veterans with obtaining access to community appointments, basic needs, and other emergent issues while transitioning and transforming to live healthy civilian lives.
