Centers for Military and Veteran Reintegration (CMVR)
チャリティ活動名 NATIONAL VETERANS TRANSITION SERVICES INCAt NVTSI/REBOOT, our mission is to empower veterans and their spouses as they transition from military service to civilian life. We understand the unique challenges they face and are committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
Our national initiative, called Centers for Military and Veteran Reintegration (CMVR), serves as a model for operational "ECO-CENTERS" for veterans and their spouses across the country. Inspired by the "Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer William 'Bill' Mulder (Ret.) Transition Improvement Act of 2021," our aim is to establish CMVRs in multiple cities across the country, ensuring that no veteran is left behind.
The problem we aim to address is the alarming rate of veteran unemployment, mental health issues, and social isolation. Our target population consists of military personnel, guards, veterans, and their spouses. These brave individuals sacrifice so much for their country, and it is our duty to support their reintegration into their communities and help them thrive post-service. Through a holistic approach, we are committed to meeting our veterans' unique needs.
Our proposed measurable objectives include serving as a hub for veteran reintegration, functioning as a "warm hand-off" from federal agencies to local community partners, and conducting comprehensive reintegration training. We plan to integrate services, resources, and community initiatives to create a seamless support system for our veterans. Additionally, we will establish partnerships with local employers to connect veterans with meaningful employment opportunities. Our "just-in-time" services will ensure that our veterans receive the support they need when they need it most. Furthermore, we will actively monitor and promote veteran wellness, making sure that their physical, mental, and emotional well-being is prioritized at all times.
To achieve our objectives, we will dedicate funding towards operation, administration, outreach, staffing, facilitating, one-on-one coaching, webinars, and other essential activities.
We are fully aligned with the priorities of the Schultz Family Foundation, as our CMVRs encompass all eight functions outlined in the Mulder Transition Improvement Act.
We also adhere to the five conditions of the Stanford Collective Impact Model, fueling our efforts to make a lasting impact. Our community partners, who are integral to our success, follow the guidelines of Altarum's Veterans Community Action Team (VCAT), ensuring that our veterans receive the best possible support system. Together, we aim to improve veterans' community support systems and create a national model for the successful transition of our heroes. In conclusion, I humbly request your support and partnership in this noble endeavor.
With your generous funding, we can fulfill our shared vision of empowering veterans and their spouses, helping them reintegrate into their communities, and providing them with a brighter future. Your assistance will enable us to expand our reach, touch more lives, and create lasting change.
