SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Yesterday Convoy of Hope held the first drive-thru distribution in response to Hurricane Florence — serving nearly 400 cars of people with relief supplies.
Convoy's Debris Removal team has also begun clearing trees and helping families clean up their properties, including properties of some first responders.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — With the help of local volunteers, Convoy of Hope's team began bagging food items and set up both walk-up and mobile Points of Distribution. Teams also travelled to affected neighborhoods to distribute relief supplies.
More than 167,000 pounds of supplies have been distributed to more than 7,000 people in Wilmington, Raleigh and Raeford, North Carolina. Our teams continue to distribute supplies today!
The team is also doing damage assessment, so we can start doing cleanup for homeowners soon.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Convoy of Hope reached Wilmington, NC late on Saturday, Sept. 15 with several truckloads of supplies. We began unloading supplies last night and continued to set up our distribution site this morning.
All roads leading into and out of Wilmington are now closed, likely making Convoy one of the only relief organizations in the area at this time. Today, our team sent several loads of supplies to churches and shelters in the area.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Convoy of Hope response teams are en-route to heavily-affected Wilmington, NC on the coastline. There we will set up a base of operations from which we will service both North and South Carolina as needed.
Supplies are also being delivered to the North Carolina National Guard and Emergency Management officials around the state for distribution at multiple sites, including shelters.
As our teams work in tropical storm conditions, rain and wind are major factors. Safety is a top priority for our team and partners as we proceed.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Convoy of Hope's advance team arrived in North Carolina this afternoon. The supplies are pre-positioned west of Florence-affected areas, ready to respond after Hurricane Florence passes through.
Another team deployed this morning with a full convoy of 11 vehicles including relief supplies, a shower truck and our mobile command unit. The team is set to reach the Carolinas late Friday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The first truckload of supplies left Convoy of Hope's World Distribution Center this morning, headed for North Carolina with an advance team. The truck contains food, water, generators and other relief items to be pre-positioned just outside Florence's pathway.
A full fleet of vehicles, with more relief supplies, is set to deploy tomorrow morning to join the advance team later this week.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — As Hurricane Florence strengthens to a Category 4 hurricane on the East Coast, Convoy of Hope is preparing to deploy Disaster Services teams. On Wednesday morning, Convoy of Hope will send an advance team to further assess the storm. On Thursday, Convoy of Hope will then send a full team to the area with equipment and several truckloads of disaster relief supplies from their World Distribution Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Convoy of Hope’s goal in responding to Hurricane Florence is to give people help and hope in times of great need. Teams in the field will distribute relief supplies to storm survivors, coordinate volunteers and assist in cleanup efforts. Convoy of Hope will be working closely with local, state and federal officials in this response.
“This month is National Preparedness Month. Our team has been watching and preparing to respond to Hurricane Florence,” Convoy of Hope National Spokesperson, Jeff Nene says. “We stand ready to help those affected by this powerful storm.”
