MEALS FOR VETS

Our mission is to provide consistent access to healthy, nutritious meals for veterans in Texas, primarily under age 60, who are struggling financially. By using people that are smarter than we are when it comes to food, we are able to have meals delivered right to their door by using a national food program. If a Veteran is 60 or over and does not qualify for Meals on Wheels or is on a waiting list with them, we will pay for the meals to be delivered by their local Meals on Wheels program. We also help Veterans who return to school by contracting with more than 40 colleges and universities across Texas so that the Veteran can get their meals at the school just like everyone else.

Meals for Vets, Serving Those Who Served, provides access to healthy meals for struggling Veterans, their dependents, and Surviving Spouses.

We believe that the hunger so many veterans endure is unacceptable. We are stepping up to meet this urgent need―focusing primarily on veterans under age 60, the population with the most limited access to consistent, wholesome, life-sustaining food. These veterans have served us while in the military, now it's time for us to serve them.
