The unique evidence-based Table Talk: Color Me Camo serves as a peer-to-peer support system designed specifically for women Veterans. The program consists of topics critical to women, including: Grief & Loss, Mood Disorders, Self-Esteem, and Emotional Intelligence. These topics are discussed through structured interaction with trained facilitators and fellow peers, while identifying and addressing barriers women Veterans face on the path to positive change and community reintegration. Attendees receive resources, participate in change-impacted activities, and are provided educational materials to assist them in developing and mastering the skills needed to reintegrate into civilian life after leaving active duty military.
The Table Talk: Color Me Camo, four cycle program is available year-round in several formats to accommodate the Veterans’ needs: a two one-day workshops, Coffee & Conversations’ individual or small group meeting, or eighteen weekly sessions. Veterans receive resources, participate in change-impacted activities, and are provided educational materials to assist them to develop and master the skills needed to reintegrate into civilian life after leaving active duty military.
