LINCOLN FELLOWSHIP OF PENNSYLVANIA INC

Founded in 1938, the primary purposes of the Fellowship are to honor the legacy and memory of President Abraham Lincoln, to commemorate the Gettysburg Address and the dedication of the Gettysburg National Cemetery, to educate the public about history related to President Lincoln and the Cemetery, and to advance our nation’s highest values and principles and to promote positive civic engagement as reflected in the words and actions of President Lincoln.

Established in 1938, the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania honors the memory and legacy of President Abraham Lincoln through the annual commemoration of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and rededication of Gettysburg National Cemetery every November 19th, the maintenance of the “Return Visit” statue on Gettysburg’s historic Lincoln Square, active support for Gettysburg National Military Park’s educational Traveling Trunk program, and the “One Hundred Nights of Taps, Gettysburg” program, which occurs in Gettysburg National Cemetery each summer.
