CANTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION INC

The Canton Community Foundation is a grant-making organization that connects donors with causes that are important to them. Grants can be made to any 501(c)3 public charity that is based in the United States. Donors contribute to existing funds or create funds to meet charitable needs that are important to them and the community. CCF staff is available to assist donors.

CCF holds donor-advised, designated, field-of-interest, and scholarship funds. In addition to these existing funds, donors may establish new funds. CCF manages a scholarship program for all of its scholarship funds including a selection process that is consistent with IRS regulations.

Donors wishing to maximize their charitable deductions may wish to consider "bundling" several years' donations into one year with a donation to a donor-advised fund at CCF. Donations can be available for immediate granting or invested with granting in subsequent years. CCF takes care of all of the administrative duties connected with the funds.

CCF is able to accept simple gifts of cash and publicly traded securities as well as more complicated gifts.

CCF offers military veteran programming: an annual summit free to veterans and their families detailing benefits that are available to them, a job fair, substance abuse and PTSD seminar, and financial literacy education.

CCF functions as a convener in the community bringing together non-profits, business, government, and education constituencies to identify and address issues of concern in the community.

CCF is accredited by the National Council on Foundations which means donors can be assured that CCF utilizes sector best practices.
